Our film, Fishing Into the Future: A San Diego Story, was selected as a finalist for the My Hero International Film Festival Sylvia Earle Conservation Award 2023, awarded for the short film that best addresses issues of ocean conservation.

Surfgrass co-founder, Andrea Sanchez Davidson, was selected as a fellow for the Jackson Wild Latinx Film Lab taking place June 2023 at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
