Born in California to Mexican immigrant parents, Andrea has worked on climate and clean energy advocacy since 2009. However, when she wasn’t supporting clean energy policies, she was nourishing her spirit in nature.
In 2019, she was accepted into the Masters Marine Biodiversity and Conservation program at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. This interdisciplinary program motivated her to user her creativity and passion for filmmaking to inspire others to be curious, explore, and take care of the planet.
